SKATEBOARDING: Roll with It

An All-Level-Skate-Program hosted by Friends For A_Dog. FFAD maintains a safe and supportive learning environment while providing participants the skills, a full complete skateboard and safety equipment. Friends For A_Dog understands the importance of accessibility and recognizes the need to help improve this access. Through this program FFAD has witnessed improved outcomes by providing the necessary tools ensuring everyone can SKATE!

HOW

All participants are given a skateboard with trucks, wheels and bearings. Students are also given the appropriate safety equipment, including helmets and pads. Our skate program focuses on helping students develop relationships while learning proper technique, skatepark etiquette, and a fundamental understanding of skateboarding safety so that our students are able feel confident and comfortable when they enter a skate park for the first time on their own.
