Beats, Rhythms, and Rhymes…The Friends For A_Dog Foundation is excited to announce another collaboration with our friends at Brooklyn's Building Beats Program. This two day event is a hands-on experience for youth that explores turntablism and DJ skills, beat production, and lyric writing and recording. With instruction provided by our expert staff, students will work collaboratively over two days to produce and record their own tracks.
This free program takes place at The Classroom at the Main Street Performing Arts Center in Burlington, VT on August 16-17, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lunch will be provided on site.
Our Beat Camps are fun, free, and an excellent hands-on opportunity to work with music professionals. Successful participants will be considered for future workshops, including attending future workshops here in Vermont and New York City.
