Friends For A_Dog Foundation Proudly Presents Roll With It, Fall ‘24 Skateboarding Camp

(Monday-Thursday)

3:30pm-5:30pm

* Drop off is between 3:20pm and 3:30pm at the Adog Skatepark.

* Pick up at 5:30pm. Camp ends promptly. Please ensure your camper is picked up on time.

At ROLL WITH IT…Skate program participants will progress to the next level of skateboarding. In a creative and safe environment that promotes wellness and encourages communication, growth, perseverance, and happiness, each individual will develop new skills.


Beginner Skaters

Beginners will learn skateboard mechanics and basic riding skills such as balance, pushing, turning, stopping, riding transitions, and dropping-in.

Advanced Skaters

Advanced skaters will have the opportunity to drop in on bigger obstacles/features, and learn more challenging tricks.

Lessons

Skaters will be assessed on the first day of the camp to establish skateboarding goals. Lessons will be adapted to each individual’s ability. All participants are educated in skateboard safety, including skateboard maintenance and skatepark etiquette.

Rainy Days

If there are any rainy days, participants will explore skateboarding through music, art, and culture.

Gear & Equipment

Campers are responsible for bringing their own complete skateboards, safety equipment, and water bottles.
